Amir is assigned to promote the sale of a new brand of ploughing machines produced by his company to a group of villagers. The new machine is far more economical. This angers Pak Ali, a rice merchant who has long been providing leasing services of ploughing machines to the local farmers. Pak Ali, then instructs his henchman, led by Sudin to attack the young executive. Amir is saved by Hamdan, a loval youth. Since their parents demise, Hamdan has been living with his sister Hamidah. Amir eventually marries Hamidah and this angers Sudin even further. The headman expels Sudin from the village and he migrates to Kuala Lumpur. At the same time, Amis also returns to Kuala Lumpur on completing his assignment. In Kuala Lumpur, Sudin meets Karim SIlat, a gang leader who is connected to Pak Ali. Sudin hatches a plot to slander Hamidah.
